Česká národní banka (Czech National Bank) two-week repo rate — the key policy rate at which the CNB withdraws liquidity via two-week repo tenders, set by the Bank Board (bankovní rada) at its monetary policy meetings (eight scheduled per year) under Act No. 6/1993 Sb. on the CNB. Czechia is an EU member but NOT in the eurozone; it retains the koruna and an independent inflation-targeting monetary policy (2% target).

What this value means
A COMMON FRAMING, CORRECTED: summaries often frame the recent CNB stance as an easing cycle, but the latest move was a HIKE. After cutting steadily through 2024-2025 (from 6.75% at end-2023 down to 3.50%), the CNB held at 3.50% from 9 May 2025, then RAISED the two-week repo rate by 25bps to 3.75% on 18 June 2026 (effective 19 June 2026) — its first increase of the cycle. Rate confirmed 3.75% as the current level; verified on the CNB's own Bank Board decisions page (cnb.cz). Remaining scheduled 2026 meetings: 6 Aug, 17 Sep, 5 Nov, 17 Dec — so the next possible change is the 6 Aug 2026 decision. The two-week repo rate is the correct headline policy rate (do not substitute the discount rate 2.75% or the Lombard/marginal-lending rate 4.75%, which bracket it).
