What this value means
Slovenia applies NO weekend substitution - ZPDPD contains no transfer provision - and 2027 is an unusually heavy year for that: six work-free days fall on a weekend in 2026 and EIGHT in 2027, materially cutting the effective holiday count. 2027 dates are the statutory calendar with Western-Easter feasts computed for Easter Sunday 28 March 2027; no annual instrument is required. NOT LISTED, because they are holidays (prazniki) but NOT work-free days and so remain ordinary working days: 8 June (dan Primoža Trubarja), 17 August (združitev prekmurskih Slovencev z matičnim narodom), 15 September (vrnitev Primorske k matični domovini), 23 September (dan slovenskega športa), 25 October (dan suverenosti) and 23 November (dan Rudolfa Maistra). VERIFICATION NOTE: pisrs.si and gov.si are JavaScript-rendered and would not render to an automated read, so this list is secondary-confirmed and the primary text of ZPDPD Arts. 1-2 has not been read; it should be verified before being relied on. CITATION NOTE: since 1 March 2026 the Uradni list RS is published by the Government Legislation Service on pisrs.si, one act per issue with large sequential issue numbers such as 1124/26; the former publisher ceased on 28 February 2026 and uradni-list.si is now a closed archive whose pre-March-2026 links still resolve. Citations for anything dated on or after 2026-03-01 must therefore point at pisrs.si, not uradni-list.si.
