Reference month July 2026, released 3 August 2026. July 2026: MoM +1.78%, YoY +31.75%, easing 0.36pp from June's 32.11%. Core (C index, excluding energy, food and non-alcoholic beverages, alcohol, tobacco and gold) +29.91% YoY — core remains below headline. BASE-YEAR TRAP: TÜİK rebased the TÜFE to 2025=100 with the January 2026 release (the old series was 2003=100). Index LEVELS before and after are not comparable and any stored level series must be re-keyed; the rate-of-change figures served here are on the new basis and are continuous. Disinflation is real but slow: annual TÜFE has drifted in a 30.6-32.6% band all through 2026 — that matters for the policy-rate series, where the ex-post real policy rate is only a few points. Türkiye also publishes an unusually contested inflation number: the independent ENAG group publishes a much higher alternative index — DO NOT SERVE ENAG, TÜİK is the official producer. NEXT RELEASE: TÜFE Ağustos 2026 on 3 September 2026 (stated in the bulletin). ACCESS NOTE, UPDATED 2026-08-10: the old data.tuik.gov.tr/Bulten URLs now 302-redirect into the veriportali.tuik.gov.tr SPA, which renders client-side only — a plain fetch returns an empty shell; a real browser is required, and the bulletin number (58297 for July) must be found via /tr/press-releases rather than guessed from prior numbering. The TCMB EVDS mirror (tcmb.gov.tr) remains a server-rendered fallback.
