Headline YoY 2.7% (down 0.4pp from May 2026's 3.1%, driven mainly by food and electronics price developments); MoM -0.2%; index level 102.8 on the 2025=100 base. KPI-JAE (core, excluding energy and adjusted for tax changes) also 2.7% YoY, index 103.0. Inflation remains above Norges Bank's 2% target, which is the stated reason the Bank hiked to 4.25% in May 2026 and signalled a further rise. Next release: July 2026 KPI, expected ~10-11 August 2026.
